Mini Sub

This Unicraft submarine is a difficult kit, but it is an unusual subject and I like having strange vehicles in my collection.

This little stack of bits are left over parts from the kit. Some I replaced with others and some I don't know what they were supposed to be used for.

The sub is essentially done, but I have to sand down much of the exterior, particularly the seams.

You can see the smile of satisfaction on the Revell KM sailor, now the job is nearly done. Both sub and sailor are 1/72nd scale. I like having figures near a model as I build it. It's good training for them ;) and it gives me a good idea of how the vehicle looks with the troops.

I have a number of Unicraft kits. They are difficult to build, but very unique, so they are worth the trouble.

Will give some a go, But more about stuff i can do now as oppossed to a rainy day pile (again)

But rather have a stockpile than they dissapear for whatever reason.
hopefully not!?

But also have the problem with ESCI kits, Eastern Express, And 20mm metal figures mainly Platoon 20, Battlefield, THQ, and the Quality cast series of Vietnam

Where are the molds for certain items or all together, They seem to be bought out repackaged and half the items removed from lists or catologues.

Did you try CMK kits on a search
more U-boat stuff and etc...

Cheers Karcuss

I am aware of the extensive CMK offerings. Generally they are not all that suitable for wargaming, but I may get a few of them.

It is more (CMK) they do some conversions for the 251 and some Panthers into Bergepanther etc for Hasegawa, Probably off scale for you!

that do some rail wagons for the Reichsbahn. And Locomotives for German Armoured trains, That is the interest for me.

The kit is coming on nicely, Waiting for your next South Pacific Instalment.

What happened to the Fallchrimjager and the UFO?

Cheers Karcuss
