This Lotus is from 1969 and was used in racing for a few years. This unpainted version seems to be more rare than the green ones.Since I am building cities, I want to have a stadium that can host racing cars and Formula 1 can be done on city streets. This is a really good looking car and it has a driver!I like the driver and the underside is okay but very plain.Beautiful car.I like the detail like the Lotus logo on the front.Nice front end.Even better rear end with a great engine.

Deora II Truck
The Deora II is the second version of the Deora. The original was one of the first 16 Hot Wheels cars ever made. The second one came out a few years ago and is an updated model. The original had two removable surf board, on the updated one the surf boards are molded onto the vehicle. This one has been made in several colors. And the silver one actually has removable surf boards, very cool. Good for my Beach Blanket project.

8 Ball Car
This is a Hot Wheels car.It has a Magic 8 Ball in the center. It is a nice looking car.I could be repainted and look pretty good. But I plan on leaving it like it is now.I think a Batman Villain could be developed who could us a Magic 8 Ball as a motif. The 8 Ball could be removed and seats and steering wheel put in their place.Overall it has a nice and unique link.It could be a radar dome vehicle, perhaps. The purple paint seems a good color for this car.Big surprise, this actually works like a Magic 8 Ball.I had no idea.So a very unique car in many ways.

Surf EV
The is a Hot Wheels EV, not based on a real vehicle. It has surfboards in the back so perfect for my Beach Blanket collection. The car has high ground clearance and good approach and depart angles. It has two surfboard molded into the back cargo bed.But it is a cool enough car that I may use some for my space forces.Probably have to put other cargo in the back to obscure the surfboards.Or maybe give one to the Silver Surfer.
But if your surfboard can fly, why do you need a car?

Surf Crate
Hot Wheels Surf Crate.A surfing dune buggy. A sort of hot rod Meyers Manx.I got a couple as it is a pretty cool car, and perfect for my Beach Blanket collection.Note the skull theme on the car on the left. Subtle and well done.Bottom side up.

Paint Thinner Transfer
I use a lot of Tamiya paints.Getting a couple drops of primer out of the bottle can be a pain.So I got some Pipettes from Hobby Lobby. I put a couple rubber bands on my bottle of thinner and one is always ready for some work.
Two sizes, big and small, pretty cheap.
Stick the pippette into the bottle and withdraw a few drops, put it into the paint and return the rest to the bottle. More control than an eyedropper, the shaft is smaller.

BTTF III
DeLorean on rails. Those wheels are great. The underside is pretty good. The top is very nice, with the tubes on the front hood.Standard DeLorean in blue and Back to the Future III in silver.First car and #3 car side by side.Hot Wheels covers this pretty well, I think. On the rails. Does not fit HO track exactly. But close enough.Marty and Doc inspect the car.Good car.
