Robots and Powered Armor

Robots, and troops in powered armor.
They confront a scientist.  He is wearing a white lab coat, that's how we know he does science.
They overlook the man with his arms crossed.
Robby and B9 stand by, unsure how to proceed.
B9-2 may have an opening.
He gets into position.
Steady....

The powered armor is on the verge of getting hit with a lighting bolt!

Figures are Robot B9 from Johnny Lighting Lost in Space series.  Robbie and the other silver figures are from This Island Earth, short run of figures 20+ years ago.  Power Armor figures are MPC heads that I swapped because their bodies had become brittle.  The brittle heads seem to hold up okay, I removed the head of the previous occupant and sent it to infinity and beyond.

Computer Gear

The computer room is a crowded and busy place on board ship.

Then you add a crewmember as large as Robby its even more crowded.

The Chief keeps his men and machines busy.

The latest and most up to date computer gear is in this room.

It requires skilled operators.

Robots

More Robots, with a HaT British Zulu Wars command figure.

The fins on the top of the head make this one look Japanese.

Face mask appears like a South Seas Islander figure.

I might paint some of these as belonging to specific nations, and then use them as a diesel punk type WWII wargame.

Good tank track model with cannon in the chest.

I wonder if the arms could be heated and rotated forward, so they look more like they are grabbing than surrendering?

Tool box, again, like the brick wall, I would rather have gotten another robot.

Still, it works for a supply dump or maintenance station.

Retro Robots

Wicked Duals, 52 pieces of Robots!

The Robots have a bit of a retro look to them.

I like the three legged effect!

Maybe an materials handling machine from War of the Worlds!  HaT British Zulu Wars figures in 1/72nd scale.

This one has a very steampunk look about it.

With a Gatling Gun nose, it's probably a human constructed robot, and steam powered!

Robots

Robot reconnaissance is essential to cover a large area of the planet.

Surface to orbit communication dish.

Heavy artillery manned and ready.

General robot walking away.

Bugs are coming!

Robot Arms

I got a tiny soccor set from a dollar store a while back.  I wanted the figures for little robots.

It was a sort of foosball game with tiny figures, all connected by a rod.  I cut them apart.

Then cut their arms off and added used arms left over from other figures.

Pegasus gives several arm choices in their Soviet Mortar set.  I saved the arms and now they are on robots.
