At Home

Munster Koach and the Drag-U-La parked at the curb.
The building is the Haunted Mansion from Disneyland by Funko.
It also makes a passable Munster house, I think.
The Munster family.
Hermon, Lily, Eddie, Marilyn, and Grandpa Munster.

Hermon

Munsters Drag-U-La dragster.
Note the car name on the rear window.
Mr. Bond and Hermon Munster.  Actually the human construct is a Mighty Max figure.
He looks pretty good with the car.

And not bad with the dragster too.

Drag-U-La

This was the drag racer made by Grandpa in the Munsters.
It was one of many specialized TV cars made in the 1960s.
The Drag-U-La and the Munster Koach are both Johnny Lightning die cast cars.
It's part of my horror collection.
Even the bottom is nicely detailed.

Koach

Top view of the Monster Koach.
Side view, I think it looks best in this view.
Riding in that rumble seat would be very scary!
Mr. Bond likes the Munster Koach.
The Munsters had two specialized cars, this one belonged to Grandpa.

Munster Koach

While the vast majority of my collection is historical, I like to have a few fantasy, science fiction and horror elements as well.
I allows me to add new elements into historical games, or to have small stand alone games in the other genres using the same terrain, buildings with the fantasy, science fiction or horror games.
I suspect most of you recognize the Munster Koach.
It was a custom car made for the Munsters television show.
In the 1960s it seemed that in order to be successful a TV show had to have a custom car.
The Batmobile is probably the most famous of the TV cars but there were many others.

60mm Small Arms

This is a great set of early 1960s US Army troops.
Weapons include a bazooka, the M14 Rifle, and the Grease Gun.
Poses include hand to hand fighting, rifleman shooting, automatic rifleman firing from the prone position which was the preferred method for that.
There is also a radio operator who looks very similar to the man walking with his rifle slung.
There is also a grenade thrower who has a Thompson SMG.

The radio operator also has a holstered pistol, so all around most of the small arms common to the US Army in the early 1960s.

Outdoors in Blue

Outdoors the vivid metallic blue of these figures really shows up well.
A small patrol verifies it's safe for the main body to proceed.
Here are all my MPC 60mm metallic blue figures.
Because the bases are so small they can be hard to stand up.  The bazooka guy has a rocket next to his knee rather than a base.
The submachine gunner on the left corner of the photo is one of the hard to find guys as is the kneeling rifleman in the center next to the prone automatic rifleman.

MPC 60mm Figures

Picked these up at a local comic book store.
https://thearchivesbg.com/  The Archives in Bowling Green, KY.
These are more metallic blue than the photo shows.
Too much light in the photo box.
These are 60mm figures from MPC made in the 1960s.
They are my favorite color.
I have a few and now I got a few more!  I usually use them as Marines or as a Naval Landing Party.
There are a few variations and some are harder to find than others.  Some have a hole in the base and some don't.  I think the base was made smaller to save plastic and the hole was eliminated.

RCMP and Tanks

Obsolete American tanks used for training by the RCMP.
The Germans swept through France and the UK could fall any time.
The RCMP might be the only defense in some parts of the country.
Bren guns were even being made in Canada.
And so the RCMP could pick up a few just in case.
