PVT McCall
Another member of the third squad.
He has replacement hands from Cotswold, two fists.
He is my McCall figure from TVs Combat!
Standard gear, with a field jacket.
Cold weather hat under the helmet.
I love the face, I have tried to mix and match heads on these guy rather than just use 40 standard GI Joe heads.
My Third Squad looks a bit more scruffy than the other two as they have seen more combat.

More Squad Weapons
Each of my squads also gets a sniper rifle. I think this is actually the sniper rifle issued to the USMC but it's the closest thing I can find in 1/6th scale.
This and the shotgun below are from 21st Century Toys.
Pump action 12 gauge shotgun.
The US is one of the few nations to use a shotgun in combat.
Each of my three squads gets this selection of weapons as the mission dictates.

Bazooka
Each of my squads also get a bazooka.
I have three of these rockets for them.
There is an attachment point for a sling but mine don't have a sling.
The rocket actually fits inside the tube.
And will slide out the end. Model by 21st Century Toys.

Tank Visibility
Tanks are very capable but they do have their vulnerabilities.
One of them is it's hard to see out of a tank.
Tank crews often sit or stand so they can look out of the hatch and keep an eye out for the enemy.
As a result, one way to combat tanks is to fire machine guns or high explosive at the tank.
That will frequently cause the crew to drop down into the tank.
Tank crews that can't see you, have difficulty shooting at you.

Light Tank Operation
Driving the tank.
Four men in a crew for a light tank.
Medium tanks had a crew of five.
In a light tank the gunner and the loader are the same person.
That's because the rounds are much smaller and lighter.
Still, with three machine guns and a 37mm gun with a canister round, this tank is very dangerous to infantry.
That's a lot of firepower.

Light Tank
A US Army Cavalry tank on patrol.
Tankers typically carried .45 caliber pistols, and .45 caliber submachine guns.
Troops often have to dismount to check the vehicle, or observe the enemy, or even evacuate a damaged vehicle.
The driver and machine gunner observe from their open hatches.
Extra road wheel for additional armor protection, but mostly for repairs if one gets damaged.
Commander and cannon gunner in the turret.

Stuart Tanks
These tanks weighed 15 tons and had a speed of 36 miles per hour.
Over 20,000 of them were made in several versions.
They were used for reconnaissance.
The Stuart tank series was used all over the world by many armies, and are even in use in South American today.
