This year is the year I get my basement in order. I have been buying boxes and finally go the sheds assembled. I hope to clear off the tables someone this year. The project includes building some racks to hold boxes and installing a second railing on my basement stairs for safety. Dollar Tree row houses, Godzillasauruas in the back yards. The last several years I have been working on a project to make police for some East Coast US jurisdictions and some West Coast ones for the years 1898 to 2018. These are most of the actual cars that have been allocated for the East Coast. Many will get new markings and some will be repainted. This does not include most of the trucks, command centers, SWAT vehicles, nor fire trucks and other emergency vehicles.Base temporary markings for a figure I am making. James Bond in Thunderball, 007.The original figure is 1/75th scale, hard plastic made in China, and comes in a bag of 100 rather generic civilian figures with a small number of poses. Many companies sell these on ebay and Amazon. Some painted, some not painted, in several variations of size, and quality and pose number. The figure after mounting on a base and swapping the head. In my role playing rules major figures get a hexagon shaped plastic base. Stats will go on the underside of the base. The character name my go on a plaque on the upper base or written on the bottom. Being styrene plastic these are very easy to convert and I swap legs, heads, arms, even bodies all the the time since the poses are limited. I save every unused body part and they often get used up in other projects so I don't have to sacrifice a whole figure each time.Mr. Bond with an HO 1/87 scale Austin Martin. It is a small car and he is a big guy, but it seems very small with the scale difference. These figures paint up pretty well even with my marginal painting skills.Bond, James Bond.

Cavement vs Godzillasaurus
A while back I got a set of dogs at Dollar Tree, this big skinny dog is the same color as the cavemen so he and a couple others are now cavedogs.
I think the style of the dogs fits well too.
Here the tribe has turned out to defend their territory from Godzillasaurus.
With fire, rocks and dogs they defend their land.
A few spears help make their point.

Godzillasaurus will soon be sent away.
I have moved my photo studio to the other side of the room, not sure it will stay here or not but experimenting with different lighting and different indoor set up options.

Godzilla Raids Again
Of course, Godzillasaurus eventually became Godzilla.
He has fought both for and against Japanese forces.
He is more like a force of nature, a typhoon, that destroys both the good and bad in his path.
He is also very tall.
This toy is the 1954 movie Godzilla, which I think is my favorite incarnation of him.

Godzillasaurus
The Godzillasaurus is the dinosaur version of Godzilla before he was exposed to radioactivity and mutated into Godzilla. He fought alongside Japanese troops in World War Two to stop American soldiers from invading their island. They were only temporarily successful and the Japanese were forced to evacuate and leave behind what they believed was a dying Godzillasaurus.

Godzillasaurus deploys along with a Type 96 AT/AA gun.
His claws are sharp and his teeth are very large.
Facing an enemy with such a monster fighting on their side is very demoralizing.
The face of his resolve is plain.

Banzai!
Japanese troops on the attack.
Light machine gun provides fire support.
Japanese grenades are small but can be thrown a long distance.
The radioman keeps headquarters informed.
Godzillasaurus joins in the attack.
The men conduct a Banzai! attack.
Following the flag bearer.
The charge to their doom.

Godzillasaurus and Japanese Troops
Godzillasaurus accompanies Japanese soldiers.
Lagos Island was attacked by US forces in 1945.
Imperial Japanese soldiers and Godzillasaurus defended the island.
The troops suffered heavy casualties, and Godzillasaurus was believed killed.
The Japanese and Godzillasaurus forced the initial American assault to withdraw.

Godzillasaurus
Godzillasaurus from Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah, 1991.
In that movie we learn Godzilla was originally Godzillasaurus a dinosaur who had survived into World War Two on an island with Japanese soldiers.
He fought alongside the Japanese to repel an American invasion.
The Japanese thought he had suffered fatal wounds, and they thanked him before evacuating the island by submarine.
He was later revived when nuclear testing irradiated him and turned him into Godzilla.
