Batman Tumbler versus Joker Mobile Monster Trucks. For some reason there are a lot of Monster Truck Hot Wheels and many of them are Batman related.Just as The Joker has tried to take over surfing, and maybe drag racing, he could go after Monster Truck fans.So a Tumbler with a Joker car makes some sense. The paint job is pretty well done for a crazy Joker character. From a distance it could be almost anyone.Nice front end.

Joker Mobile and Batmobile
Jada makes this set that at first glance seems too small for my 1/72nd scale figures. It is true they are tiny. But they are nicely detailed. My intention is to try and find a Hot Wheels car that looks at least a little like the Joker Mobile and see if I can cobble one together, using this one as a guide. These two cars will end up in my Batcave Batmuseum as display vehicles.
Of course the Batcycle is another matter entirely.

Queen of Hearts
Hot Wheels.
Queen of Hearts van.
While I am not much of a gambler or a card player, I think this is a very cool vehicle.
It seems Hot Wheels made several different vehicles with playing cars as the design.
I like that it is just printed on the vehicle, they did not change up the vehicle at all.
My plan is to use these for Joker or perhaps for vehicles associate with Las Vegas casinos.

Car Conversion
I think both cars will provide parts and maybe a back seat from a third vehicle.
I will also have to do a repaint of course.
First job will be planning, followed by disassembly and paint stripping.
I am hoping for an easy job.

Jokers Under
Hooligan by Hot Wheels.
This car will help me make my Joker Mobile.
It has the fenders and running board that the Joker Mobile needs.
I will combine it with the Bone Crusher car.
Should be a fairly easy conversion.

Surfs Up
In the Batman 66 TV show there is one episode where the Joker drives a cool surfmobile.
Surfs up, Jokers Under is the title.
It is similar to this car but with rear seats and fenders and a running board.
My plan is to use this as the basis for a conversion to that car.
Fits nicely with Mr. Bond.

Blocks and Jax
The giant toys in bright colors give the impression of a giant out of sync world.
Just the sort of thing Joker would like.
Child like and dystopian at the same time.
Outsized, freakish, and gigantic, just like The Joker himself.

Plans for Villain Lairs
Here at a lower angle the room looks more finished.
I got a bunch of stacking plastic storage crates.
From the outside they look a bit like modern buildings.
Stacked they look a lot like skyscrapers. My plan is to stack them on their sides. I looked for ones that would stack that way. I got most of them at Walmart. They seem to be in stock most of the time, in several sizes. Insert a piece of foam core board on the down side as a floor. Then put paper, foil, or more foam core board on the sides to make walls. My plan is to use foil or mylar or some similar material on the walls that is visible from the outside of the box to make it look like a modern building with the foil or mylar as the window glass. Inside the walls can be foam core board or as here just printed papers. I am experimenting with several techniques. In this way the boxes will act as a sort of doll house type building to allow three sides and the top to look like a nice building and the back will be open for wargame play. I have four large boxes about the size of a photocopy paper case box and a lot of boxes about half that size. The large boxes I got in bright colors for use as super villain lairs, they often seem to enjoy the high visibility look. The smaller ones will be for the secondary villains like Bookworm, or the Mad Hatter. But I think at least Joker, Penguin, Cat Woman, King Tut and Riddler will get their own large box size lair. The Bat Cave, however, will be something more unique and special. These boxes can be stacked or placed side by side to make larger buildings, with big rooms.

Joker Lair
1/72nd scale Batman with the Jax and ball.
I think it makes a rather scary maze.
Here is my mock up Jokers Lair.
The Banana Mobile is a Hot Wheels car that seems just the thing for the Joker to drive.
Blocks, bold polka dots on the walls, jax, Jack in the Box, and alphabet blocks seem a good start on a Joker Lair.

Jax
In the Adam West Batman TV series the Joker is depicted as a clown.
The Joker sometimes has a lair with various games and toys in evidence.
When I saw this colorful jax set I decided it would look great in a Joker lair.
So I spent a couple bucks and picked it up.
They are about an inch long.
