Navaho Tribal Police

Trident makes a large number of police vehicles.

They are their regular vehicles repainted, redecalled, and cast in different color plastic.

This van is Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Many American manufacturers make similar or even identical models in Canada.

Note the little horseman with lance and pennant.
 

Rockway Truck

Trident HO scale plastic model van.

Rockway is an oil company that operates in New York City.

They provide home delivery of fuel oil and other petroleum products.

This green color is their typical livery.

This is an excellent model and well marked and put together.

Mostly just take it out of the box.

Trident makes a number of different versions of this van.

It is available in several different markings.

It's even detailed on the underside.

NYSP Van

HO scale Trident New York State Police van.

Detailed underside.

Looks a bit small with a 1/72nd scale figure.

The only assembly is rear view mirrors which I don't use because they break off with handling.  And the light bar, which is optional on this vehicle.

I think it looks great with the light bar.  Excellent model, nearly fully assembled, no flash, great value.
 

New York State Police Van

New York State Trooper van in HO 1/87 scale plastic.

Trident makes a lot of American police vehicles fully assembled and painted.

Mostly I buy California agencies but sometimes I purchase others.

There is no national police in the United States.  Most police work for cities, counties, and states.

There are Federal Law Enforcement agencies but they mostly do specialized enforcement of Federal laws or help local agencies with training or special expertise.

State police often provide police on state highways and state parks and buildings.

Vans like this can be used to transport officers to handle special events like a parade or sporting event that requires extra officers.
 

Police Ambulance

Trident NYPD, New York City Police Department 1/87 HO scale van.

Van like this can be used to transport police, arrested persons, or as an ambulance.

Sometimes they are used to carry equipment like street barricades.

Agency I used to work for had a similar truck filled with ammo, shields, water, tools, all sorts of things that might be used at a variety of emergencies.

Basically the same as the Trident Army version.

But with very nice police markings on the side.

Ambulance

Trident Army ambulance in 1/87 HO scale plastic.

Like a Roco Minitank these are mostly assembled when you get them.

You just add a few detail parts and you are done.

In this case it's mostly lights that need to be installed.

And the bumper.  Builds up pretty good I think.
 

More Panthers

Here are some more Panthers.  Top is Corgi in camouflage.  Middle is Trident Panther F, and bottom is Heiser Models in resin.

The one added on the left is the Boley Panther.

Now with the Roco Panther added in the middle.  All are supposed to be HO 1/87 scale, and should all have the same size hull.

Not exactly, but for a die cast model, the Corgi is really good.
