DR Doom and the Shark Submarine
The car storage spaces are the same on each half of the shark submarine. I have placed furniture in this one to make it more of a playset, not unlike a dollhouse.
DR Doom feels satisfied with his new shark submarine.
He had used luxury furniture and a flotilla of submersibles to fill his submarine
He also had a well trained crews.
Here on the command bridge with the canopy down.
Here with the canopy up which works on the surface.

A mysterious electrical mechanical device filled room!
Who controls the mystery flame portal?
It's Doctor Doom!
Only the FF can save us.
Will they stop him in time?

Dr. Doom's Army
This Dr. Doom army will work for any non-discript army of the period from about 1900 to about 1950.
My goal was to make them appear mostly ceremonial, like the Guards who protect Buckingham Palace; yet still able to conduct limited combat.
While I don't usually paint figures, I did want these guys to stand out, all of my "superhero" figures are painted.
Older weapons often serve for 50 or more years in places where there is little or no money, or little or no threat of war.
The Dr. Doom army is backed up by technology invented by Dr. Doom; particularly robots.
A rare photo of myself with the collection.
Drummer still needs a little touch up.
Hello to my readers from Italy. Many great figure companies there!

The Army of Latveria
Dr. Doom is the Prince of the nation of Latveria. As such he has a small army that protects his small nation.
I have been building up a few troops for that army.
This cannon is from Eagle Games, but I have replaced the wooden wagon wheels with rubber tires.
I converted it from a muzzle loader to a breech loader.
The troops are Napoleonic British and French from Emhar, Pegasus WWII Soviets from several sets.
Every figure has had his head cut off and replaced by one of the other figures. The French got British or Russian heads, the British got French and Russian heads, and the Russians got British and French heads. A very small number of the Russians kept helmets and there are a few other figures tossed into the mix.
Hello to my readers in Russia! Welcome to Bunker Talk.

Army of Doom, DR Doom.
Drummer is not finished, but I took the photos anyway.
Troops marching, their appearance in the towns of Latveria helps to keep the population in line.
While I don't paint figures much, I like to have my Super Hero collection painted.
The Napoleonic figures have had their weapons modified into breech loaders. Some of the figures actually have more modern weapons, such as this SMG armed soldier.

NCO with SMG.

Army of Doom
The Latverian Army has a variety of basic figures. Some are Emhar Napoleonic French, Napoleonic British, Pegasus WWII Soviet Infantry in Greatcoats and a few others.
Nearly every figure got a headswap. All the British and all the French Napoleonics got headswaps.
The figures are all painted in the same gray uniform.
Their equipment is brown.
Figures are all 1/72nd scale.

The National Army of Latveria
This is an army you have likely never seen before. Dr. Doom, the comic book character, is also the prince of Latveria. His nation has an army and I have built it with a combination of archaic and ultra-modern weapons, uniforms, and equipment.
This cannon is by Eagle Games, it was an American Civil War 12 pounder.
I modified it by giving the gun rubber tires.
The gun has been modified from a muzzle loader to a breech loader. This was common after the Civil War as breech loaders were much better.
The army on the march.
While the army does defend the nation, their role is mostly ceremonial.
The national flag.
