Still More Anubus

A good action figure.
Missile weapon which is nice so they are not limited to close combat.
Pretty large bow so likely good range and armor penetration.
Heavy pole arm.
This would likely be a very dangerous close in weapon.
Many of the figures have multiple weapons.
This whole set is very nice, I think.
Ten poses does not seem like a lot, but it actually not bad for such an unusual subject.

More Anubus

These Anubis figures are 1/72nd scale but are a bit larger than most human figures of that scale, which I think is fine.
They come with a nice selection of weapons.
They should be easy to paint.
Most of the figures are pretty active.
These could be good cultists, particularly in a pulp game that takes place in the first 60 years of the 20th Century.
I like the dog tails!
A little flash on the elbow but it's so thin as to be clear and it not hard to remove.

Anubis

Dark Alliance makes a big range of various horror and fantasy figures.  These are their Anubis Army set.
I don't do much in the way of horror, but I do like to have some Ancient Egyptian stuff in the collection.
I use it for GI Joe Adventure Team, (Search for the Mummy's Tomb), The Mummy, (1932 and 1999 movies), and King Tut from Batman 66, as well as potential Afrika Korpse scenarios.
These figures have a little flash on them but it's not too hard to remove it.
Lots of good action poses.
They could be used for Stargate games also.
The figures have nice details like the feet and hem of the outfit.
I know very little about Ancient Egypt so I can't speak to the accuracy of them as warriors of that era.
They do have a nice dog face look.  But the figures are not so canine specific that they could not be a human in a mask.
