Samurai Robot Squad
SDC Robots, three of the different poses that I think have a Japanese style to them.
So I painted them in a Samurai style color palette. This one is supported by a rocket blast out the bottom.
This one has a chain gun with ammo feed from a backpack.
This one has a ray gun on the end of the left arm. Shown with Strelets figures.
Close up of the rocket jet figure.
Black gloss overall with gloss red highlights.
Makes a very nice robot I think.

Robot Samurai
SDS Direct makes sets of about 3 inch figures, one of them is Robots.
They are usually molded in light or dark gray, and sometimes brown.
Several of them had a sort of Samurai look to them.
So I did some research on Samurai armor colors and found red, black, and gold seemed to be popular.
This one is a "flying" robot with a jet out the back.
My plan is to paint up one each of the three Samurai looking figures in each of those three colors as the main color.
Then I will use them with my WWII Japanese figures in 1/72nd scale.
It was not uncommon for comic books and other media to have World War Two Pacific stories with giant Samurai robots, monsters, or creatures of some kind.
