Cheap Cars

I was at Dollar General the other day and got some cheapo race cars.

I want to be able to have expensive sports cars parked in front of Casinos that James Bond visits.

And I want a race track in the town where custom cars can put in an appearance as in the Batman 66 episode Come Back Shame.

These cars have nice interior detail.

The metal is thin and not well cast in some places.

This one seater is the most unique and best looking car.  Paint job looks like it should be for Captain America.

Over all for 40 cents each they are pretty good space filler cars.

I am happy with them.

They have several different while types.

Not great but worth the price.

Here is the line up.
 

Fast Car

I never heard of a Pagani Huayra Roadster.

That's probably because they cost as much money as I have made in my whole life, or more.

It is a beautiful sports car.

James Bond novels and movies have a great love for high performance vehicles and for car and boat chases.

I think this will end up being involved in a James Bond scenario or two.

If nothing else it can sit outside the casino or hotel and show that it is an upscale establishment.

I think it would be nice to have James Bond chase a villain in a car that is actually a high performance vehicle.

It could lead to the most exciting car chase since Bullitt.

At the end of the chase it might end up like this!

Drive safely and buckle up.
 

BMW 507

Hot Wheels BMW 507.

I think they should have called it the 007 and got a James Bond product placement.

Nice looking car.

Very sleek.

Good paint on all four sides.

The quality of Hot Wheels was declining the last few years as they tried mightily to keep the $1 price point.

The extra 25 cents seems to have made a big improvement.

Chrome bottom is nice.

Very good car, it would look great with James Bond in it I think.

Just don't speed around here.
 

Sports Cars

Another Hot Wheels Corvette, this on is The Fast and the Furious version.

I have never seen one of those movies so I can only write about the car model.

I like the paint job.

But I liked the white with blue strip version better.

Still it's a nice model.

Rear end is better painted than the white car version.

Well done model.

Part of my racing sports car collection.

Three of them together.

They look very different due to the great paint jobs and the different color glass.
 

Corvette

Corvette Grand Sport Roadster.

This is the same basic car that also comes in a The Fast and the Furious version.

But that one was for The Fast and the Furious.

This presumably is just a regular one!

The markings are great.

And the white with blue trim is a good scheme.  Tail lights need some work.

Over all a very nice car.
