New and Old

Big Bird.
This one is easy.
This one is hard.
Dodge ball, with dinosaur.
The whole pack.
Comparison with existing dinosaurs from the Cretaceous period.
Interesting relationships in size and bulk.
More action in the new stuff.
Significant upgrade on the flying creature.

Shell vs Dinosaurs

The 1/72nd scale Shell tribe is having problems with dinosaurs today.
Sometimes a big rock can solve a lot of problems.
But not every problem.
I will see your rock and raise you another.
This one is easier.
This one is hard.
This one is armored!
And jumpy!

Shell and Rex

This is the other reason I got this set.
So few swimming prehistoric creatures in dinosaur sets.
This one looks particularly scary.
I think Rex wants to chase his bone.
He looks more friendly than frightening.
Night at the Museums' Rex before he was a fossil.
The Shell Tribe fights the sea creature on the beach.

Wings

I am not sure what this is, Allosaurus perhaps?
I think that is the horns on his head and ridges along the back.
Turu the Terrible.
This figure is one of the main reasons I got this set.
It's a great looking flying creature.
The pose could be take off, landing, or remove the base and call it flying.
Nice pose I think.

Dinosuars with Teeth

This group of dinosaurs is a little more involved with teeth and claws than some of the previous ones.
They fit well in size with the others too.
But this one is more of a ram than a bite.
Having this come at you would make you wish for a matador cape!
I like the detail on the surface of the skin.
Another predator.
Most of these are about three inches long.
So they are generally smaller than many of my other dinosaurs but that makes them either more in scale, or useful as juvenile creatures.

More Dinosaurs

Eating out of the tall trees.
About 3 inches tall, so about 18 feet or so in 1/72d scale.
Maybe territorial so could be a danger.
He looks mad.
All the dinosaurs come in dark and light gray plastic.
I like the scales on this one.
He would pair well with a carnivore.
Nice club.

Dinosaur Figures

Many of the dinosaurs in this pack are in active poses, and I like that.
They also look updated from when I was a kid but did not go with the feathers.
Even if the feathers are real, I don't like them.
This guy is crushing someone, pushing down a tasty tree, or wants to fetch a stick.
It is an interesting and active pose.
That's one of the reasons I got these dinosaurs, because the poses were a bit more active than the usual grazing or walking.
These figures have some variation between the same pose, I suspect it is due to taking soft models out of the mold.
They are also a good size for realistic dinosaurs for 1/72nd scale.
