Yeti vs 6.5 Bullets
The Yeti were agitated at the presence of outsiders.
The Yeti surrounded the Japanese Paratroopers.
The Yeti closed in!
The Japanese opened fire at a close range.
The Yeti are durable creatures.
And a few bullets were not enough to dissuade them.

Wildlife
Imperial Japanese (IGA?!?) Army figures from Strelets, in 1/72nd scale.
As Japanese troops plunged deeper and deeper into China they sent expeditions ahead to scout out the territory.
Army paratroopers were sent deep into China, into Tibet and into the mountains.
Their mission was to determine the presence of minerals, and other natural resources.
Sometimes it was the wildlife that was most remarkable.
In this case the wildlife provided a lasting impression.
One that was hard to ignore.

Jeep
Matchbox has been doing a lot of Jeeps recently.
And Jeep has been doing retro Jeeps in real life.
This little beauty is much smaller than usual for Matchbox.
I got a few of them for my Pentomic Army.
I am considering leaving them just as they are.
Maybe paint the bumpers and spare tire.

Arctic
Arctic combat is difficult.
Drone air support covers the sky.
The drone takes off and lands vertically, so airfields are not needed.

Snow Combat
Winter arctic warfare.
Orange vehicles so they don't get lost in the snow.
Troops dismount and move on the building.
A bulldozer comes with them to clear a path when tracks are not enough.
These are special tracks that replace wheels in times of bad weather.

Missiles Standing By
Standing by for the attack.
Most war is just waiting.
New long range anti-tank missiles are a great danger to the enemy.
Such a danger his tank heavy forces have gone around to the north.
Three days of waiting for an attack that never came.

TV and Tanker
This is a die cast tanker truck.
Matchbox TV truck with 1/72nd scale figure.
Trucks like this can provide instant battlefield communication all over the world, in HD.
It's not very good cross country.
This Hot Wheels tanker truck can keep your trucks filled up with fuel.
They paint up nice as army trucks.

Live TV
This is the Matchbox TV remote truck.
This kind of truck is often found at major live events like concerts and sporting games.
The large dish keeps them in touch with satellites and live feeds all over the world.
The military can use them too.
Sometimes the military even has them.

Police
A new Matchbox sheriff vehicle.
For near future wargames in an urban environment police vehicles are a must.
Sheriff vehicles with police.
1/72nd scale figures with sheriff cars.
The same vehicle comes in red with different markings.
In a major incident, like a Commie or Martian invasion, police from all over will respond.
Matchbox makes a nice line of police vehicles.
