Chopper and an Ant

Clarence sent me this in a box of miscellaneous bit and stuff.
No wheels or blades.  Only markings are the type of helicopter.  I don't know who made it.
It is my favorite color of all time, metallic blue.
It is an off scale for me but I suspect I can find wheels and something for blades.  It will likely end up as a museum exhibit, or maybe gate guard.
Clarence also sent me this great giant ant, he was red plastic.
One red ant does not make much of a colony so I painted it bronze color.
I plan to use it as a yard decoration for my Steve Sweetman Institute of Myrmecology.
Very good coverage for the paint.

Hot Wheels Vehicles

Another vehicle sent to my by my friend Clarence.
He sent me this Hot Wheels 4x4 truck.
Sometimes Hot Wheels does their wheels in brown for off road vehicles.
Even the spare tire is caked in mud.
This transparent car is also a Hot Wheels from Clarence.
It is a little scruffed up but then in the future things will sometimes get dirty as they do now.
You can see the clear wheels.
It is a one man vehicle.
1/72nd scale figure for comparison.
Work at the construction site.
Work continues.

SWAT Team

My friend Clarence was kind enough to send me some 60mm Tim Mee police in green.
There are six poses and they represent SWAT team police from the 1960s.
They are armed with revolvers, a bolt action rifle, a tear gas grenade launcher, pump action shotgun, and batons.
Even their poses reflect police training during that time period.
The portable radio is large and has a corded microphone.  They wear a mixture of dress hats and helmets.
They also have external body armor, common in the days when regular police did not wear armor.
They make up a very nice little set of figures.
These green ones will naturally become military police.

Clarence Gives Another Gift, Thank You!

Cowboys vs Aliens?  No, Cowboys vs Dinosaurs, Valley of the Gwangi.

Reds versus Dinosaurs.

Why was this Tim Mee officer always looking back, and why was this dinosaur always looking back, I think I figured it out!

Toy Story takes a tragic turn when the Army Men fight the Dinosaur.

More Cave Men Antics

The cave men know to attack only they young dinosaurs.

Scare them with fire and drive them towards the men with the axes.

The man with the ray gun knows how to fight cave men.

Pirates versus cave men.  Shiver me timbers.

American Civil War Union troops versus Brontosaurus.

Clarence and the Cave Men

A while back I saw some of these guys on eBay.

They are cave men and kinda small, and I had never seen them before so I did not buy them.

Now I got a few of them from Clarence, I like them and will have to start looking for more of them.

He sent me two with axes and one with fire. I have no idea who makes them.

Here with a Marx tree, keep the fire away from the tree please.

Thank You Clarence

My friend Clarence is doing some restructuring of his collection and has gifted me with a few surplus items.

This blue dinosaur is one of them.  I like dinosaurs.

I never understood why the Brontosaurus was always posed looking back by so many companies.

Still, this is an interesting specimen.

Sleeping.

This one needed a little sanding on one foot so he would stand up, but he's all better now.

They enjoy an opportunity to snack on an old Marx trees.
