These are 1/72nd scale resin figures from phersuminiatures@googlemail.com Phersu Miniatures.

Leo makes these little gems, and they are wonderful. I have a set of his prehistoric people and I really like them. I don't do ancients and have no idea how to fit these into the Battle of Berlin!

Leo does some unusual figures for dioramas mostly, but I think figures like this would work for a wargame command group or a camp location.

He has other projects in the pipeline:

Making and modifying figures clothing (phersuminiatures)

As regular readers of this blog know, I like to modify figures to suit my requirements.

Phersu Miniatures has posted a new tutorial on how to modify figures, changing their clothing and doing so cheaply. This is an interesting technique, and I may have to try it soon.

Phersu Miniatures cave men. 1/72nd scale figures in resin.

Here are two of the female standing figures. This is a pretty complete collection of figures. They are both male and female, standing and seating. Some are fighting and others are not.

A couple of these figures are hairy humanoids. Center bottom row, with two clubs, and top left with one club. The small animals are here too. Dogs, pig, and sabre tooth tiger are very nicely done.

The two standing female figures with a Caesar Miniatures WWII German in 1/72nd scale. As you can see the sculpting and anatomy are very fine, they fit well with plastic figures.

Cave Men

Recently I got a package in the mail from Italy, from Phersu Miniatures.

The packaging was a bit rough, but the items inside arrived in perfect condition.

I got at least one each of their prehistoric humans, several of some of the poses and a few of the prehistoric animals, all in 1/72nd scale resin.

While the packaging was rough, it did work just fine, all the figures were in perfect shape when they arrived. You can see from the photos the figures are very fine. I have never seen resin figures as perfect as these are.

These cavemen have Cro-Magnon people and some other, hairy people too. They have little spears and other weapons, some in metal. I really like them. I have always wanted "cavemen" figures and these fit the bill.
