Army, Navy, and Air Force

Prone guy in the bed of the truck.

Radio man and man with a rifle to cover him.

Lots of different figures go very well with these figures.

The trucks also come in blue.  I use that color for Air Force.

 And in gray, I use that for US Navy.

Truck and Passengers

Tim Mee truck with recast truck riders.

These figures fit very well into the back of the truck.

It seats eight comfortably.

It even works with the canopy up.

There is also the amphibious version of the truck.

 Powered by two oarsmen.

Japanese Troops

1/32nd scale Japanese soldier by BMC recast Marx figures.

A good pose for troops in the jungle.

Banzai charge.

Often this type of  attack was intended to get the participants killed.

Another soldier with a submachine gun.

Waving the other troops ahead.

Rusty Russian

Running Russian Recast in Rust.

This is the group of figures, each pose.

You can see it includes a wounded man that I did not photograph separately. 

The charging Russian is very similar in pose to the charging Japanese.

Which brings us to the next set, the WWII Japanese.

These are similar to the Marx Russians, these are Marx Japanese, recast by BMC.

BMC Russian Soldiers

BMC through Victory Buy has recast the old Marx Soviet Russian Soldiers.

They are 54mm size.

The grenade thrower.

The butt stroke man.

They are molded in a nice rust color and are flash free.

A great set.

BMC Together

Prone rifleman from BMC.

Firing in the other direction.

Firing alongside the Tim Mee 60mm prone firing figure.

The whole group, together.

A very good group of troops, I think.

The back view, I am getting more, for certain.

Tim Mee Versus BMC

BMC Iwo Jima flame thrower man.

Bent over by the heavy load.

Tim Mee second series flame thrower man is a lot beefier.  

Prone BAR gunner, reloading.

There is no Tim Mee figure that is analogous to this pose.

Bazookas

Kneeling firing, with an M1 rifle.

Like the rest of the set, he has the full field pack.

About the same size as the Tim Mee figure but the Tim Mee figure has better posture.

BMC Iwo Jima figure, with the M1 bazooka.  The bazooka is a separate piece and it fits very snug.

Good figure, with full pack.

About the same size, but the Tim Mee figure has an M20 Super Bazooka and the BMC figure has an M1 Bazooka.  M20 was designed in WWII but not fielded until the Korean War.
