Police Raid

Police raid on the old Rose and Crown Tavern.
Paddy wagon at the ready.
Scofflaws file out the door.
And into the wagon.
Innocent bystanders stand by innocently.

Inn

Traditional inn, good for Europe, the US, from 1750 to 2024 and beyond.
Another WalMart Christmas building.
Eventually I paint out the snow, match the roof color, or maybe paint it to look like soot, dirt, leaves.
Nice details, the little half dome window at top.
Big hole in the side for lighting, not a fan of that, I usually cover it with a window, or maybe a billboard.
The other side.

Little House

It used to bet that Jo-Anns, Dollar Tree, and Wal-Mart all had a decent selection of little Christmas buildings in about the 1/72 to 1/87 scale range.
They last few years they seem to get smaller and smaller.
Now most are 1/100 scale or smaller.
Too small for me.
I did manage to pick up this one from Wal-Mart.
Shown here with a 1/72nd scale Early WWII US Army soldier by Strelets.
And a little pick up truck.
And some trees.

B As in MayBerry

Worker bee.
Worker bee and hive.
Worker bees build a hive in a small American town.
The population flees!
One man uses a pick to aid others in escaping.
The large bees can still fly!

Small Town School

Small school from Dollar Tree Christmas stuff.
I like this little awning, it looks like a drive up window for a bank.  So you could repurpose this building for that useage.
This side is plain but nice.
Another nice side.
The front looks a bit like a re-purposed fire station.
Getting these few buildings makes a nice little town.

Candy Store

Dollar Tree did not have much new for small Christmas buildings.
I got this one and not until I got home did I realize it is a re-release of one from last year.
It is a nice building.
I plan on using it as a two building chain of candy and ice cream stores.
So not a bad building.
One new thing is they have lights inside but unlike last time these have separate batteries not included.
These are plastic models and would take paint well and are pretty good.

Robots, Aliens and Space Suits

Candy mold robots cast in resin.  This kind of chubby one looks a bit like the Mondoshawn alien space suit from the Fifth Element.  But only a little.  Maybe these are not robot but exoskeletons, or space suits?  They are whatever you want them to be.

Painted in satin metallic silver.
Painted in copper color.
Painted in gold color.
In the retro future robots will be common.

Snow Town

Here is a sleepy little American town.
A small but prosperous town with a bell tower in the center of the city.
And a new school building.
And even a theater.

With a light dusting of winter snow.

Big Building

For HO scale this building is a real bargain.  It was less than $15 at Wal-Mart.
For miniature wargames it also a bargain in another way.
It's assembled, painted and one piece.  It's pretty durable, it will break if you drop it four feet onto concrete, but under normal wargaming play it won't have little bits break off.
It is a little heavy, that's bad for storing a large number of them in the same box, but it makes it steadier on the wargame table.

It has snow on it and Christmas decorations but war happens at Christmas time in the snow too.
