More Painting of Soviet Vehicles

Often I paint on cardboard so that I can toss it in the trash after they have been painted on, to get rid of the flammable material.
This is may base color for most of my Cold War Soviet Union vehicles.
This can has a circle on the top of the cap, indicating is has been open.
My paper towel for wiping the nozzle after every few sprays.
My spray can spinning shaking device, to make sure the paint cans are fully mixed.
Here are a few armed vehicles ready for paint.
Hole in the top of the chassis.
Pin on the bottom of the turret, and a hole in the cardboard to insert the pin and hold the turret upright while it is painted.

Adventure Force

Adventure Force is a line of cars similar to Hot Wheels.
I have only seen them at Walmart and have heard they are exclusive to them.
The package does say they are distributed by Walmart.
I have four or five of their cars.
They cost less than Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, and are made in China.
This one is rather plain, but not a bad looking vehicle.
Obviously a racing car.
Not a lot  of details but drag racers often don't need a lot.
Clever use of the materials.
Underside is very well done!
Top side is cool.
Race Bannon approves.

Dumpster Diving

It may not seem like much but trash collection is a big deal.
Having a place for all the trash to go keeps a city clean and cuts down on fires and disease.
So having trash dumpsters and trash trucks is essential.
This Dollar Tree set is very common has been out for a long time and is still in stores.
I have been picking up one here and one there for a while now.  At the price the dumpsters alone are worth that much.

Surf Woody

1932 Ford Woody.
This is 1/64th scale and is a Wal-Mart exclusive.
The are about 25 cents cheaper than Hot Wheels or Matchbox and are similar to those brands before they increased the price about a year ago.
Back then the cars lacked an interior and the wheels were getting cheap.  Since the price increase they are much better.
Still, for $1 this is a perfectly usable car, in 1/64th scale.
It will work well for my Beach Blanket surfers.
So the size problem does not bother me.
I suspect I will get a few of these and the will have surfboards mounted on the roof, or out the rear window.
And I will likely repaint them so they are not all red, and perhaps change up the wheels.

Caterpillars At the Beach

I like the interior detail.
New construction parking lot.
Ready for sale?
Or ready to start on the job site?
Pretty good find I think, I got them while shopping for dog treats.

Caterpillar Scrapers

I like the tires too, nice deep treads.
Good bottom scraper.
Nicely detailed.
Some of these models look very much like some I got from another company years ago.
But it is nice to see them back.
I managed to get four of these.
Good for building airfields.

Loose Caterpillars

I got at least one of all the vehicles they had at the store I was at.
The website for the company says they make a lot more than just these.
Most of the other ones are really big, for like strip mining.
These three are probably the most useful for military operations.
The upgraded grader from the old Roco.
Like the others some of the parts move.
These are very sturdy.
They don't even come in a box, they are just sold loose on the shelf.
