Roco Minitanks M60A1 tanks, HO scale.
The ground cover is an old US Army uniform shirt, cut up so it will lay flat.
Old CDs used for tree bases, painted and flocked and trees mounted on them.
Resin emplacements covered in spray primer, then painted brown, then dry brushed with light brown.
Green paint applied on spots and flocking put on the green paint.

Hasty prepared positions.
Positions like this have been used since the American Civil War.
They can hold a cannon, a tank, a self propelled gun.
It both protects the troops and weapon and hides it.

Special German Police prevented more than superficial damage to the structure.
They take them men into custody.
The sniper team provides overwatch.

Take a sheet of styrene plastic and cut it to fit a truck cargo bed. Glue cargo onto it. Then you have a load that can be transferred to put with other loads to make a supply depot.
This many APCs need a lot of supplies.
So do the tanks.
Fuel, ammo, lubricants, and spare parts.
Troops gotta eat.

Esci Vietnam War Special Forces in 1/72nd scale.
US involvement in Vietnam ended in 1975 and US troops around the world used similar equipment.
One of the biggest differences was the M60 series tanks were not used in Vietnam due to the lack of a serious tank threat there.
Troops and tanks and APCs.
Each squad gets a dismount M60 and a 40mm grenade launcher.

5 tanks per platoon.
Three platoons per company.
Infantry platoon has four squads, each with an M113.
Most are armed with a .50 caliber machine gun.
