The KWIK-E-MART is pretty well detailed on the exterior. Note the electrical meter on the side. The back side is a bit plain. This side has the burglar alarm bell, a door and graffiti. I hate graffiti. My plan is to print out a Coke billboard and paste it over the vandalism.Front is pretty good, parking sign, milk crates, bike rack and something people under 20 years old have never seen before, pay phones with a telephone directory book. Some of that may be repainted. Here is Bart with some kind of Slurpee type drink.Bart inside the door. My thought is to print out a "glass" door with metal frame photo and glue it to a piece of plastic to make the door.I got two of them since it is supposed to be a chain of stores. The figures will join the Buzz heads as Junkanoo figures. I am also considering making them into 7-Eleven stores since I worked at one for a while, decades ago; when we used pay phones.007 stops for a Slurpee and to use the phone.

Bart Simpson
I have probably watched three episodes of The Simpsons in the 35 years they have been on TV. So I have a vague understanding of the characters and ideas of the show but it just never interested me.Now Funko has released a new series that contain a very small Pop figure and a very small building. And that does interest me.It this case it is the KWIK-E-MART convenience store from the show and Bart Simpson. Here is the legal stuff. It is a clever idea, you get a figure that comes in a miniature Pop type box and a building that is associated with the character. The figure can be removed from the miniature Pop box and inserted into the building where he looks out of the, non-existent front door.Shown here in the full package insert. These are designed to be collectable so they can be removed from the package, handled and then returned to the package without having to damage the package. Very clever idea. I throw the package away. The miniature Pop figure can be returned to his miniature Pop package. I will likely make a door for the building.

Horror Buildings and Cars
I have a small collection of horror related buildings, figures, and vehicles. Including the Addams Family Haunted House. Also the House on the Hill which is the home from the movie Psycho. I have several others including the Michael Meyers House from the Halloween movies. This is the famous Munster Mobile from the TV series the Munsters.I have selected figures for the Munster family but they are not yet prepared for painting. This Dante's Inferno Room from the movie Beetlejuice. It has a nice balcony. It is a Funko Pop Town building. The figures are generic civilians. The Munsters Grandpa vehicle, Dragula, it is a dragster. I have seen it in real life and it is very nice looking. The building is from Michaels, as a Halloween decoration.
James Bond in Live and Let Die has to deal with voodoo practitioners. In Spectre James Bond chases an enemy through a Dia De Los Muertos parade.
There are also Weird War Two and similar comics, role playing games, and such that could benefit from such a collection. I also use the tumbled down buildings as a run down portion of a big city.

Bitty Pop
A new series from Funko is the Bitty Pop! Towns.Like the regular Funko Pop Town buildings these are a building packaged with a figure. In this case from one of the Harry Potter series of movies. I saw the first movie, it was okay, but never bothered to see the others. I am not a big fan of magic generally. These buildings are very small and much cheaper than the regular buildings. This is cute though, the Funko Pop figure is about 1 inch tall, so about 1/72nd scale. These I am keeping for use in my Junkanoo as they will work well for a guy in a costume. They are packaged in their own small package and can be removed easily. Then there is a space for him inside the building. I got several of these new sets and they all work like this one.The detail is very nice.Even the back. I may make a door from the front, but I have not decided for sure yet.

Addams Family House
The TV show The Addams Family is pretty funny, and has some interesting characters, and building. There is an HO scale plastic model kit of this building in several versions. The Funko Pop version is about 1/100 scale and comes with Uncle Fester and Thing. The legal stuff. It is an excellent building and would work for at least the last 150 years or more, I think. It it not really spooky so much as perhaps a little dirty in appearance.Nice chimney.
Good details.Nice landscaping. The driveway is just large enough for an HO car but not a Hot Wheels, which run much larger.I like a nice flat space on the roof, it's great for snipers and other activity. The ribs on the bottom of the base show how sturdy this building is.

Spanish Style Building
This Funko Pop building is from the Disney movie Encanto.I have never seen the movie and don't intend to do so.It comes with a figure from the movie. As usual the box is sturdy and easy to open, remove the figure and building and return them without damage to the box.The legal stuff. The building is a little small for me, about 1/100 I would guess. But it is a nice building and of a common type in Southern California. It will be fine in an HO scale city.It is a very durable building. The colors are bright, maybe a dull coat would improve the look.Side view.
The package comes with this bit of cardboard as a backdrop. I think I will use it as a patio for the back yard.
