Police Battalion Raid
Now the Police move in.
Even the back exits are covered.
Rifle butts knock in the doors.
Men with wooden batons standby to deliver heavy blows to anyone slow or stubborn.
Plenty of Police for any resistance.
An early morning knock on the door, a terrible sound.

Police Battalion Operation
A small village in Easter Poland.
A light dusting of snow on the ground.
A police battalion surrounds the village.
They move quickly and quietly.
Until all is ready

Police Battalion
The Strelets Police Battalion is flash free and in the usual Strelets chunky style.
They have a good mixture of weapons including clubs.
The set contains everything the miniature police state needs to oppress the population.
For small unit Eastern Front games these troops would be found behind the lines,
and along the supply lines, looking for freedom fighters.

Village
Troops search all over the village.
They find no one.
But rooms are warm.
Tables are set.
People left quickly.
The Romanians sweeping the forest must have encountered these.

Enemy of the State
Police battalions were often very harsh.
They fought against an enemy that often did not follow all the rules.
So it made it easy for them to ignore the rules too.
When partisans look like civilians.
Then the civilians often begin to look like partisans.
Once everyone looks like the enemy, then everyone gets treated like the enemy.

Police
The police raid comes quickly.
Nearly a 100 police arrive in the small village.
They spread out to the front and rear of every building.
Another small group stays in the center as the command staff.
It was cold, the police hoped the partisans were hunkered down in the buildings.
Doors are knocked and knocked open when there is no reply.
Windows are covered too.
These operations are quick.

Police Battalion
The troops press forward.
The enemy is falling back.
The troops advance.
They approach a village.
A police battalion is conducting a raid on the village.
The partisans apparently fled when the police arrived, and ran into the sweep.
