Millionaire Bruce Wayne and His Youthful Ward Dick Grayson

Millionire Bruce Wayne and his youthful ward Dick Grayson.

Like some kind of tourists they stand in front of the Batmobile to get their photo taken.

Batman and Robin with the Batmobile.
They get their photo taken in front of Stately Wayne Manor.
Like some kind of tourist photo.
Robin is getting older and has been working out.

Figures are conversions of Battle Dice figures and the Batmobile is from Hot Wheels.  It is one of their specialty versions that has extra painted details and nicer tires and wheels.

Their attire is based on this photo from the 1966 TV show.

This posting was inspired by a post on the Plastic toy soldier collectors International group on Facebook by member Murphy Smith.  Thanks Murphy Smith.

The Batmobile.

 Batman and Robin and Batgirl.

The Batboat.  All from the mid-1960's TV series Batman.  Also used in the Batman movie, and shown in the Batman '66 comic book.

Super Hero Super Villian Cars

Batman and Robin and the Classic 1966 Batmobile.

New versions of villians.

And their cars.

A Bat Dragster and a Joker car.

A frosty ride for Mr. Freeze.

I think it's a great looking car.

Very futuristic look to it.

The snow white tires look great too.

Looks good with the Batmobile.

Captain America & Uncle Sam

When I was writing about Red Skull someone asked what I use for Captain America.

Normally I use Captain America for Captain America.  From the old Battle Dice series.

I also use Uncle Sam too.  He was a super hero in the Golden Age of WWII also.

Uncle Sam is a conversion from a HaT Industrie figure, mounted on a Battle Dice base.  Both 1/72nd scale.

Batmobile

Batmobile.

By Hot Wheels.

Hot Wheels makes a lot of different Bat Mobiles.

 They vary a lot.

This is a new model and still in stores.

I got a couple of them.

Red Skull

New lands mean new opportunities.

It also means potential new dangers.  Caesar Miniatures WWII German Engineers respond.

The Red Skull supervises the expedition.

The SWS halftrack is used not as a combat vehicle, but as a battle taxi.

Panzerschreck to the ready!

Punisher to Phantom

This is the Battle Dice Punisher and I am converting him into the Phantom.

Mostly it involves painting him purple.

The Punisher does not cover his head, and the Phantom wears a cowl.  So I have to file down his hair so that it looks like a cowl.  I used Tamiya Purple to paint him.

WW, Uncle Sam & Thor

As part of my Super Hero project I am making Thor and Wonder Woman.

This figure is the top half of Mystique and the lower half of Sue Richards from Battle Dice.

Here is the Hero Clix Thor.  The Battle Dice Thor is rather tiny.  The Hero Clix figure is 28mm, but I think a god should be large.  I cut off the hammer and made a new handle for it.  The handle closer to the figure is from a different version of Hero Clix Thor.  He had a great hammer, but his pose was pretty terrible.  I cut him up and replaced him with this guy, a more action packed figure.

This figure is from the HaT Spanish Guerrilla set.  I am making him into Uncle Sam, who was also a comic book character in WWII.

Wonder Woman with a little work done on her.  I still have to paint the shorts, belt, and hair at least.

Two hammers of Thor.  The one with the white handle fits into a hole I drilled into Thor's hand.  It is set up so that I can remove the hammer and use Thor with or without it.

Orange Thing

The Hero Clix Thing painted up in orange.

It does look a bit like an underwear commercial.

The original Hero Clix Thing vs the repainted Orange Thing.

Here he has the Fantastic Four uniform painted on.

All three of them together.

The Battle Dice figure cut off the base.  The Hero Clix will be glued on this base eventually.
