Dewback Patrol

The dewback is a desert creature.

Unsuited to the snow.

About once every 100 years or so it snows on this part of Tatooine.

The reptiles are not in danger of dying.

But they become very lethargic.

All they want to do is sleep and wait for it to warm up.

That can mean death to a Stormtroopers Dewback patrol if they get caught in the snow too far from base.
 

Reconnaissance Drone Found It

We got word there was an entrance to a bug hole not too far away in the desert.

Most every thing on this plant is dead, the bugs eat almost anything organice.

Our reconnaissance drone found it.

It full of bugs all right and we hit the jackpot with a brain bug exiting.

That's a rare occurrence and just what we were hoping to find.

Our scout vehicles got there soon after the brain bug emerged from his hole.
 

Station Survey

The orange plate is, of course, a electromagnetic transfer device.  It only works within the system and there must be another orange plate a the reception location.

Electro-cannon, 1/3rd are always manned.

Fighter with one pilot on station in case of attack, he will power up and be ready for lift off when the second pilot arrives.
