Soviet WWII Collection

For years I have been trying to get my WWII Soviet collection painted.  At least the metal, resin and electric green vehicles.
Here are some Mir models getting their final primer job.  My goal for 2020 was to get my WWII Soviet collection all primer painted at least.  I have a few plastic ones that are not yet painted, but they are Permit in a pretty dark green, so I probably won't prime them, just paint their base color directly.
Just when I thought I had all the tanks done, I found those few at the top needed some repairs so they could go the paint shop.  So they were delayed.  Still, I am on target to get all my WWII Soviet vehicles and artillery at least primer painted by the end of the year.  My hope is next year I can finish my WWII Soviet vehicle purchases, and get those remaining vehicles assembled and primered and painted.

Buildings

School in a rough neighborhood.

New Wal-Mart building for this Christmas.

It's a very generic building, and could be a school, or a house, or an apartment, or an office, or government building.  I like these kinds of buildings.

The decal that says "SCHOOL" can be easily painted over, or scrapped off.

Here are this years best Wal-Mart small buildings with a Matchbox police car.

WWII British Commandos

Caesar Miniatures British Commandos, rear view.

Shooting.
Throwing and running.
Kneeling.
Very nice set, no flash, excellent poses.
One of each pose, only 27 figures in the set which is not very many.

British Commandos

Budget cutbacks Commando.  Silently sneaking up on the enemy.
Bren gunner.  Love the beret.
Sten gun man.
Firing from the shoulder.
Running with a Thompson.  1/72nd scale British Commandos by Caesar Miniatures.
Grenade guy, no hat.
Sniper guy.  Scope looks pretty big.

Toy Store

Toy store.  Essential for any town, large or small.
This is another one of the Wal-Mart Christmas buildings.
They cost about two dollars.
Ready to go right out of the bag.
About HO / 1/72nd scale.

Commandos

British Commandos by Caesar Miniatures, WWII.
Very nice officer, the berets are very well done, I think.
This guy should be whistling a tune.
Explosives expert.
Peeking around a corner.

Grocery Store

Christmas buildings from WalMart.
This one is a grocery store.
My long term plan is to paint over the snow.
Once painted the building work for any season.
It's a nice little grocery store but would work as a restaurant or any small shop for about the last 200 years.

Mercedes G Wagon

The police interceptors managed to pull over the red Mercedes.

That big six wheel Mercedes can go over 100 miles per hour.

But that's no match for the Police Interceptor.

As the owner of this vehicle will soon find out.

And he has plenty of people here to tell him about it!

Police Car

Hot Wheels police car.

Mostly blue and white.

So I will likely use this as and NYPD car.
But the reality is that it should be more white.
But sometimes you make do.

Pistol vs Tank

James Bond confront's Doctor No's dragon!

It has wheels and smells like diesel fumes.
It is not a dragon, it is a tank.
But like a dragon, it breathes fire!
A 9mm short pistol vs a fire breathing tank.
Only one outcome possible.
