USAF

The US Air Force maintenance team swarmed the helicopter.

The heat and dust was hard on the little chopper.

Almost has hard as living in tents.

The local man stood in the hot sun keeping watch.

His keen eye and dedication to his duty kept him alert and ready for anything.

The Men See It

 

These White men had a mechanical walking machine.

Each man saw it with his own eyes.

They had seen nothing like it before.

They had to get back to the village and warn their people.

 A new village is in the place of the old!

Observers

Two men watched the giant robot from a distance.

They were not German men.

They were born and raised here.

They easily evaded the guards.

They were loud and clumsy in the bush.  The two men were not.
 

He Walks

He's walking.

Move before he steps on us!

The giant robot takes a few steps forward.

This is a great achievement.

Notify Berlin.
 

The Robot Walks

He is up.

He is standing, the men are in awe!

Order him to walk.

He steps forward.

And again, he works.
 

Robot Stands

He seems to be in good working order.

Now to close him up and get him on his feet.

He is standing!

He is so huge, so terrifying!

He will conquer!
 

Robot Weapons

The men wear protective suits when working on the robot.

Some work is so hazardous they have a small robot do it.

A large object in the middle of the African plains.

Large fuel tanks to one side.

Officers of the Deutsche Demokratische Republik, or DDR.

Why are they in Africa?

At one time large parts of Africa were German colonies.
