Finished Head Swap

Take the MPC head, and poke a mark in the bottom, does not need to be deep, just centered.  I use an awl and it works great.  MPC head is from a brittle figure who was crumbling, but the heads seem to stay good for a long time.
Drill a tiny pilot hole.
Then a larger hold almost but not quite as large in diameter at the wire. Here I am using left over wire from the construction of the scorpion cage.
I use Loctite super glue ultragel control.  It is slightly flexible and so works well in this application.
After putting a drop of glue on the pin, insert the pin into the hole in the body.  Then a second drop of glue on the exposed end of the pin and add the head.
The figure will be painted army men green like the previous version of this figure.
Here with some not brittle MPC figures.

MPC Ring Hands Bag

There is an outlaw biker board game called Sons of Anarch, Men of Mayhem.  It comes with this little cargo bag in white plastic.
This 60mm MPC military figure in blue plastic is carrying one of these.
If fits perfectly as a small tool bag, or medical bag.
Here the running man pose with the same gear bag.
About two dozen of these bags come in the game.  Might also work as a satchel charge explosive.

Computers and Locusts

As part of his tour of the Advanced Technology Warfare Development Center he visits the biological laboratory.
Here they are trying to develop larger animals that can serve as food, and materials, particularly in times of shortage or blockade.  Here there are testing using locusts intending not to use locusts for food, but rather as a test bed for cattle, pigs, and chickens.  The intention is to transfer the technology to develop giant domestic animals.
The locust life cycle is very fast so that multiple generations can be produced in a short period of time.  The massive computer power is used to predict results and those growth results are compared to the actual locust.
Mr. Vice President is very satisfied with the work but wonders about the security.
The scientists wear their white uniforms and the military guards wear their military uniforms.  Mr. Vice President is reassured that there are several hundred armed troops on the facility and at least 100 on duty 24/7 in case of emergency.

Power Armor and Other Figures

60mm power armor soldiers.
They are US Army retro-science fiction troops.
I took heads from MPC ring hand figures to replace the original heads.
The power armor figures are a little small for 60mm but not by much, I think.
Here he is with a Tim Mee "Vietnam" type figure.
And with another 60mm MPC slot hand figure.

Red MPC

MPC ring hand figures.
I like that they came in lots of colors.
I use the different colors as different kids of troops.  I think this dog is Tim Mee civilian dog.
I use the red guys as emergency personnel or as test technicians.
Weapons are a mixture of MPC and Marx recast.
Jeep is one of several MPC Jeeps.

Blue Green and Red

I have been sorting my MPC stuff.
For some reason most of the seated guys seem to be the ones with the pin in the rear, and only in yellow or blue plastic.
It seems odd that there are no green ones.
And I have hundreds of green ring hand guys.
But by red soldiers are short handed too.
This is my whole collection of red guys.  Gotta see about getting the rest of the poses.

MPC in Color

While the vast majority of my MPC ring hand figures are green, I do like having other colors.
I use the red for experimental, or safety,or fire department, depending on the scenario.
Blue ones are Navy or sometimes Air Force.
Red ones are similar to the red vehicles, usually safety related or experiments requiring supervision.
I think I have more green than all the others combined.

MPC Small Jeeps

I call this the MPC Small Jeep.
Three parts, two axles with wheels molded on and the body.
My only blue example and it's mysteriously missing a blue front axle.
I got it this way, on eBay years ago.  Still looking for a blue axle.
Just got this red Jeep recently, never saw it in person until a friend of my, Clarence, sent it to me.  Thanks Clarence!
Ring Hand driver is the old style ring hand figure and does not really fit in this Jeep.  I don't have any red ring hand drivers.

More MPC Ring Hands with Guns

MPC Ring Hand figures, I use them as 1950s to early 1960's US Army troops.
The prone bazooka is from Marx.  They included them in many of their WWII sets in order to increase the piece count without using much plastic.
The weapons don't always fit the shooting figures well.  The submachine guns are several different types, mostly post-World War Two.
The straight magazine M1 carbine is the World War Two version but it was used for decades after.
.45 caliber submachine gun with .45 caliber pistol.  The guy with the scarf is wearing an American Civil War accessory.
One of the versions of the BAR has a separate bipod.
This guy has a Madsen M-50 submachine gun.  It was used by the US in Vietnam. It was a 9mm.
The frying pan is another Marx accessory from the cowboy gear.  He's my cook.
Another Marx Western accessory, with a bugle.
I can't figure out what submachine gun this one is supposed to be, the grease gun is a cylinder that goes all they way back.
