Not one, but three giant robots!

Observation by Local People

For months now the White men have been doing something in the bush.

But they would fire their guns at anyone who came close.

The government men in the city said there were no White men there.

But here they are.

And enough of the men from his tribe were here to see them that they knew that the government could no longer deny what was happening.
 

Observers

Two men watched the giant robot from a distance.

They were not German men.

They were born and raised here.

They easily evaded the guards.

The giant is still now.

The men patrol because until he is operational, he is vulnerable.

There are always last minute adjustments.

Even a small robot works on the large robot!

The officers are anxious to see the results of six years of planning and work.  Camrade Stalin himself "suggested" this project to the head of the DDR.  Who could refuse his ideas.  Even with him gone the DDR decided it would be a worthwhile attempt to restore former German territory, albeit outside Europe.
