1966 Batmobile 2022

A 2022 version of the 1966 Batmobile.
About once a year Hot Wheels does a 1966 Batmobile.
They are usually black, but not always.  The window glass and interior colors are often different.
This one has a red interior, and lots of pin striping.
They also change up the wheels.  I am not enthusiastic about the pin striping.
It will likely be disassembled and repainted.

Munchkin Town

The road is a yellow brick road that I downloaded and printed.  It's not very good.
My plan is to get more flowers and other small decorations.
I may also do a few more buildings, perhaps do some additional painting on these buildings.
Most of my Oz related buildings will do double duty in other venues.  I have several castles that I use for other purposes, Dr. Doom, Baron Zemo, Disneyland, and an old Airfix Sherwood Castle too.  They will work for the Good and Bad Witches of Oz.

The Horses Move Out

The horses roll out the gate.
Each toy horse on their wheeled base.
Munchkin houses in a circle.
It's early in the morning so everyone else is asleep.
The pond near the road.
The troops move out.

We Welcome You

This is part of my Wizard of Oz project.
Every once in a while I pick up something to use in that project.
These will likely become part of my Munchkin Land town.
Dollar Tree and Dollar General sold these this spring.
I got one or two of all of them.
They are actually too big for Munchkins but I figure that big doors are just part of the amusement value of the town having big doors for little people.

CMDF

I plan on using this microscope for GI Joe.
But also for the CMDF in 1/72nd scale.  In the movie Fantastic Voyage there was a military organization called the Combined Miniature Deterrent Forces.  They shrink down people and inject them into an injured man to cure him from the inside.  They were trying to learn how to control the process so that people could stay small for longer than one hour.
I call my troops CMDF Combined Miniature Defense Forces.  Deterrent seems to imply failure of the mission if they actually have to go to war.
For several years I have been gathering bits and pieces to use for this project.

Computers and Microscope

This is the doll toy microscope.
It's a very nice toy.
About GI Joe size I think.  There is a little light in the bottom to view the slides.
Look down the top of the tube and you get an interesting view of the slide.
Dr. Benton Quest during the Cold War.
He was in the Army before working as a civilian contractor to the military.

Science Stuff

I was at a rather odd little gift shop recently and picked up this set.  These are microscope slides.
It is some kind of doll toys.
It looks like it was part of a whole range of toys.
It has a microscope, some slides with a case.
And a human torso with removable bits.
The body is almost the same size as a 12 inch GI Joe.
