Penguins

The Arctic set comes with both Arctic and Antarctic animals.  The ice floes are nice.

The penguins are well painted and include baby ones.

More penguins.  Penguins are about 1/24th scale, Orca about 1/200 scale.

Some of the Penguins may end up with a Batman Villain.  Wack, wack, wack.
 

Batman Penguin Mobile

1/72nd scale Penguin and the Penguin Mobile.

This is one of the cars from the set that had the Gotham City Police car.

It was originally called Fast FeLion by Hot Wheels.

For this set it was repainted as a Penguin car.  The picture of the Penguin looks like one from one of the movies rather than the Batman 66 universe that I create, but I can live with that.

The top reminds me of the Jaguar XKE series from the 1960s.

The bottom has this white rectangle that seems like it should be a button, but does not seem to be one.  It has been released with many different markings before t this.

The Penguin Park

Penguin Park

This year Walmart was a cornucopia of awesome Christmas buildings. 

They come packed in this type of cardboard box that keeps them well protected.

They are also easy to open and check to be sure if the model is not broken, or to check out the model before buying.

Since I collect Batman 66 items, this seemed a perfect item for a Penguin lair.

The box is very festive.

But not on this side.  

The building comes with a light bulb so you can light the building, but I don't use them and donate them.

The top as a cute penguin diorama.

The polar bears look more like yellow Labrador retrievers.  And the polar bear is found at the north pole and penguins only live in the south pole.

Trained seal is cute.

The back of these buildings have  a big hole in them to fit the light bulb.  I eventually cover it with a window or other structure.

Interesting top view.  This is a good building for 15mm to 28mm I think.

The Penguins Nest

I am trying to build the lair of various super villains.

This is just a mock up of some of what I have for Penguin that I have put together in one place.

Little duckies are more from the movie version but while my Batman collection is focused on the TV '66 Batman universe I am willing to expand that a little here and there to fill out some characters a little or even add new characters that are in keeping with that universe.

Here is a Hot Wheels Penguin Mobile.  He did not have his own car like Batman, Joker or Catwoman and others did but as a major character I think he should have one.

This also shows the giant Rubber Duckie-Mobile as well.  This is just all kind of tossed into a box to get an idea of size and what else might be needed or if it is too much.  It incorporates snow flakes, umbrellas, penguins, and other things associated with The Penguin.
