The helmets are from the Atlantic Afrika Korps set. Trim off the old headwear, and glue on the new helmet.
This band leader got a whole new head. It was pinned and glued in place.
The horn was given a new bell, it was a spare helmet.
The trombone is from wire and plastic tubing.
This drummer was given a Glockenspiel made out of wire and plastic sprue. Like several of the figures he was given a large base so he would stand up with the larger and heavier instrument.
