Caesar Miniatures Modern US Army

These are the newest set of Caesar Miniatures Modern US Army, 1/72nd scale.

They are current US Army troops for the War in Afghanistan.

These new sets only have about 21 figures in them and they seem to be retailing for about $12 each, so the price per figure is expensive.

The individual figures are very nice, as you can see there the poses are very good.

The troops come with a separate back pack, CamelBak item, in several configurations.  They go into a hole in the back of the figures.  They fit perfectly.  I tried to maximize the variety of the figures, giving them as many different backpacks per pose as I was able to give.

I have some Caeser stuff and they are great value for money.

There are a lot of excellent figure companies out there. The thing I like about Caesar is their figures are always excellent, always the same size and always good poses.

Thanks for reading Herman. It's worse than you think. Rumor is they are going to do US Army Modern Heavy Weapons too!

I sure hope they make the mortar team and heavy weapons support team promised on PSR.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the poses posted!

Mike, since you are much better than me with moderns, could these work as US Marines/Rangers for the 2003-2012 period Afghanistan Iraq? I'm really a newb when it comes to moderns, and was wondering if they'd work (with the right paintjob).
