Stug III
The Stug III was often tasked with supporting infantry.
Being used to destroy machine gun nests and bunkers was a good job for this tank without a turret!
Close cooperation was important if the Stug III was to avoid Russian tank hunter infantry.
My WWII German Stug III company. One platoon is down for maintenance.
Tracks are added to the hull and sides for added armor protection.
This is a mid to late war unit.
My HQ Stug is in a lighter yellow camo scheme. The vehicle next to it is a munitions carrier / ARV version of the Panzer III.
