Opels and Horses

More Opel Blitz van bodies. The trucks pass the infantry and don't move much faster than the infantry.

Dirt roads can be very bumpy and driving along for hours on end really wears on the vehicles and the men.

1/72nd scale German infantry, and 20mm German infantry with 1/87th scale vehicles.

Despite the Panzer Divisions and years spend preparing for war, the Germans never had anywhere near enough trucks. The used hundreds of thousands of horses up to the end of the war.

More vans, more horses, an endless stream of men, and vehicles and yet they are swallowed up by war.
