76.2 Anti-Tank Gun USSR
Italeri makes this soft plastic 76.2 anti-tank gun in 1/72nd scale. There are two per package and it goes together quickly with only a few parts. There is a nice set of crewmen for each gun. These guns were very common in World War Two and Korea.
This view shows the rear of the gun and a nice close up of most of the crew. There is also a small box full of ammunition that is included in the set.
In this view I have added some of the Italeri Winter Soviet Soldiers. As you can tell from the photo both sets fit perfectly together. Both sets are molded in a nice tan plastic with no flash.
This front view of the gun shows the intricate detail on the front gun shield. These guns were very common in Soviet service and was an excellent choice by Italeri. So far I have about 24 of these but I intend to get 48 of them. Each set is about $10 and with two per set these are only about $5.00 each and that includes a crew which is an excellent value. These sets will also go well with the new Pegasus Soviet Winter and Summer Infantry sets. It looks like the next two years will be a great time to expand your Red Army as new sets are appearing on the market.

This product is very good, but i do not like the las products of Italeri (like the austrians or mamelukes) ´ cause the scale is big, not 1/72.
Sorry, i´m a purist
Thanks
Italeri is not consistant with their products. Some are very large and some are 1/72nd. I have compared their WWII Russians with both the old Esci Russians and the soon to be released Pegasus Russians and they are all three the same size.
