Matchbox makes a number of great, authentic police vehicles.
This one is New York City.
NYPD has used their white and blue markings for decades.
It goes nicely with Caesar Miniatures figures.
This is a great vehicle.
I am thinking about developing a small police car fleet for NYPD over the next few years.

Good to see the NYPD represented so well.
What I'm noticing is that a LOT of police departments are in the process of "transitioning" from patrol CARS to these SUVs.
Gonna miss seeing those cruisers on our streets.
Seems car makers aren't even playing up t governments any longer (where a LOT of their revenue came from).

They only sell about 50,000 police cars per year in the USA so many car companies figured it was not worth it anymore. With Federal regulations requiring better fuel economy and fewer people wanting big cars it became un-profitable for full size police cars. Too bad, I like the police car better than the SUV.
