The last vehicle to redeploy is the armored vehicle launched bridge.
The banks are too high for this vehicle to drive over.
The water is too deep for it to wade.
The river is too wide to cross over without a bridge.
The bridge is a necessity.
Bridge launcher stops on the opposite shore.
The bridge is collected.
The bridge launcher is then ready for the next river, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Always a good thing to take your bridge with you (when necessary)...heh.
Carry on.
In real life they often have extra bridges towed on trailers so they can leave bridges behind at important crossings and yet put the AVLB forward with a second bridge.
