AVLB Armored Vehicle Launched Bridge
While many armored vehicles are able to cross rivers unaided, the humble army truck is still the workhorse of supply.
An army moves on it's stomach and so the supplies have to get through.
In a land so vast, large numbers of trucks are needed to carry forward the army.
Even a massive undertaking like this bridgehead becomes small when seen from the air.
And the aircraft is why anti-aircraft missile are ready for an attack.
The trucks quickly move over the temporary bridge.
Later more engineers will move forward and build a more permanent temporary bridge.
But to keep the attack going the AVLB is a must.
