BMC Spanish American War Soldiers
LT Pershing and SGT Berry, Tenth US Cavalry, Buffalo Soldiers.
Even with the 'less than stellar' sculpting on these figs, I always wanted this set in 1/72 scale. The whole playset was great. I fear the Spanish American War will never be made in 1/72 scale in my lifetime. I make do with pretend armies (Redbox 1900 Marines, but really, nothing suitable for Spanish). The BUM Spanish had potential, but the plastic was the consistency of toilet paper, but not as sturdy! ;-)
Thanks for reading Arlin. You are very right, I would certainly buy these guys in 1/72nd scale. I keep hoping but it does seem unlikely. One of my friends uses the Airfix Confederates as Spanish. Not a bad choice, I think. Bunkermesiter
