Roco M47 Tank
Some of the earliest Roco Minitanks were way underscale.
This is their M47 Patton tank, in about 1/100th scale.
I think, from the side especially, it's a great looking tank model....
...that bears very little resemblance to the real M-47 tank.
I have a few of these in my collection.
I like to use them as prototype vehicles or even unknown enemy vehicles.
The rumor is these were first made by Roskopf, then Roco, then Eko.
Since Roskopf did make 1/100 scale models it is a plausible theory. Note the underside does have an erasure of what could be a name or logo. Also it does not actually say Roco on the bottom!
