I'm enjoying these posts as both my grate uncles where in the NY State National Guard in a horse drawn 75mm unit prior to being mobilized for WWII.
That's awesome Don M. I am working on a long term project to have several National Guard units and police departments for a few eras, 1898, 1918, 1938, and 1958 for playing War of the Worlds and several other wargames both science fiction and historical. Horse Drawn 75mm artillery is definitely on the to do list.
