In WWII the Germans formed Police Battalions from local forces in occupied areas.
As police forces these units were usually given odd mixtures of rifles, pistols, and submachine guns.
The both worked to round up enemies of the occupiers and to fight partisans.
This guy is banging on the door in a raid.
These troops were often very hard core and did not hesitate to apply the strongest measure if they met resistance.
These troops usually operated in conjunction with German units.
Some of their methods were judged to be very harsh, even by standards of the never squeamish SS.
Still, this is a good set to have on anti-partisan duty to free up regular troops for normal combat.

I have this set, Its not a bad set, not a common thing with this company, the weapons are far to chunky but we can live with that
Strelets has gotten better over time, but they do have a distinctive chunky style.
