Prehistoric Crocodiles

Safari, LTD makes a range of Prehistoric Crocodiles that come in a TOOB. This one is a Champsosaurus.

I am willing to use crocodiles that are 50% larger than the largest known example. This one is a Chasmatosaurus.

Since the average human is less than six feet tall, but the largest human known was almost nine feet tall, it is not unreasonable to have dinosaurs that are extra large compared to the average known discovery. This one is a Postosuchus.

These critters come fully assembled and painted right out of the box. They cost about $10 for a tube of ten. I found eight that I consider 1/72nd scale or within the margin of error. This one is a Dakosaurus. Looks more like a shark than crocodile!

This big red one is a Pristichampsus. I think they evolved into Irish Setters.

A pretty cheap way to populate your prehistoric waterways with dangerous creatures.

What's the one second from bottom? Looks almost like a mosasaur but I can't tell in this small scale....

And Pristichampsus actually made a fairly cool appearance in the show Primeval...ever seen it?

Hello TW, it's a Dakosaurus. I have changed the text to answer your questions.

Thanks for reading!

Primeval is a good show, I catch the re-runs on the SYFY channel.
