Japan Hobby

There has been a huge earthquake, tsunami and maybe even a nuclear meltdown in Japan. Maybe the next visit to the hobby shop you can make an effort to buy some Japanese hobby products. Many of us have built many Tamiya 1/35 scale models. I also use their paints, and tools and other hobby products.

The 1/700th scale ships and 1/72nd scale model airplanes from Japan are excellent quality. I used to collect those ships before I went on to 1/2400 scale. I have many planes from that company.

Buying a few extra Japanese hobby products in the next couple weeks might help people keep their jobs, provide some extra money when the hobby shops re-stock. It's just one more way we can help those who share our hobby.

Yes, try to buy one item from Japan this week that you otherwise would have purchased from China.
