Pegasus News & Photos
Today I visited Pegasus Hobbies in Montclair, California to meet with Larry Pegasus and find out what is new in the hobby world.
Larry has many new sets that are just on the verge of being released. After his great Soviet Naval Infantry figures he is just putting the final touches on his next FOUR sets of WWII Soviet troops. Summer and Winter, heavy weapons and infantry. The Summer and Winter sets I have previewed here before and they are great. They should be along soon, hopefully this year. The Olympics have disrupted things a bit but as things get back to normal we should see items in the stores soon.
This is a pre-production shot if the new US 2 1/2 ton truck from Pegasus in 1/72nd scale. It is the Studebaker which was used by the tens of thousands by the Soviet Union during and long after WWII. It is a good kit, and very simple to build. It will go great with all those other Soviet tank models he is making like the JS-II, and the T-34, and BT-7.
Larry showed me a test shot of his BT-7 fast tank and it is pretty good. It is still in the early stages of testing and so is not ready for sales, but it has some nice details, I particularly liked the tracks, very well done. That's all the news for now!

I will probably pick up a company of the BTs. They looked like good solid wargame pieces.
Jim.
I liked the track detail and the engine deck, very nice quick build 1/72nd scale models.
