Motorcycle

I got this trailer and motorcycle as part of my biker gang collection.

It is a sub-set of my Beach Blanket Bingo collection.

There is a biker gang called the Rats that appear in most of the movies.

I managed to get only one of these, my plan is to cut the motorcycle off the trailer and mount a rider on it.

Checking ebay they are too expensive to cause me to buy more there.

So for now I only have this one.

Maybe someday I will get some others.

We shall see.
 

Ape Troops and Wagon

These are not just good ape poses, but are good soldier poses. 

These figure sets are limited production.

And so when they come out you have to buy them right away.

They often sell out pretty quick.

So far I have never known them to re-issue any subject, but you never know what may happen.

I wish I could have afforded 250 of them.

They would have been great opponents against my army men, and giant ants, or spiders.

Who knows what terrors lurk in the forbidden zone?

They also make the prison wagon.

It is laser cut MDF.  I have seen photos of it built up and it's nice.  It's on the to do list.
 

Apes with Guns

More Elastowit figures.

I love the Apes figures.

They come in black and dark brown.

I choose the black.

They are about 54 / 60 mm size.

How large is a gorilla with a submachine gun?

This is the flag bearer figure.
 

POTA XTC-3D

Elastowit in Ukraine makes various science fiction figures.

I managed to pick up a few of them recently.

They came with these horses which I am not sure are made by them, but are included in their sets.

This is a regular plastic cast horse.

I don't have the saddle on right, but I wanted to you see the horse.

Nice and smooth.

Excellent model.

But look at this horse pose, these are 3d printed horse.  The one on the right is untreated.

Here is a close up of the striations, or ridges on the 3d printed horse.  Not a bad looking horse model, but not optimal.

Here is the same horse figure with a new coating on it.

The coating is made by Smooth-On to smooth out the striations on a 3d printed model.

It got it by mail from the manufacturer.

Mix parts A and B and brush it on.

It is kind of think and there is a bit of a learning curve but this is my first use of it and I am pretty happy with the result.
