I want a Godzilla figure, of the 1954 Godzilla, that is comparable to this one. Minimal articulation, and at least 24 inches tall. Figure companies keep making more and more Godzilla figures but they are often ridiculous, have multiple parts, multiple heads, alternate hands, all of which runs up the price and provides rather limited value, in my opinion.
We need a 24 inch tall 1954 Godzilla that costs less than $250 dollars, is strong, reasonably detailed, and has good play value. I am waiting for one that will fill the last major hole in my collection of movie monsters.

Far from the 1954 Godzilla, his face and other features change so much>> These later Godzillas have lost the early look of him, and have become hideous ...Ha!....Of all 29-31 Godzilla movies, I have my favorites, but Godzilla 2000 was perfect.
The first two movies, Godzilla and Godzilla Raids Again used the same rubber suit, until it fell apart! That's always been my favorite. Godzilla 2000 is my second choice out of the group, he is an excellent Godzilla. Thanks for reading and commenting Jungle Troop.
You’re looking for a 2 foot tall Godzilla? Dang, that’s HUGE. I’ve got a 7-inch tall (14-inch nose-to-tail-tip) Godzilla from the original King Kong vs. Godzilla movie which I found at Target a few years back. Head, tail, arms, claws, feet, legs are articulated, but it’s very well done. Delightful menage of menace and cheese. I calculated that it’s in perfect scale for Steve Jackson Games’ Ogre/GEV miniatures (though film Godzillas have ranged greatly in size over the decades). I gave it the rapper name “Li’l Godzilla” or “Li’l ‘Zilla” for short. It assists me in my game reviews on my blog. He wins at those way more than he should.
Using 1/72nd and 1/87 scale figures, buildings and vehicles a large Godzilla is a must. Really in 1/72nd scale he should be about 4 to 6 feet tall, depending on which Godzilla he represents. But 2 feet would be plenty. Sadly, Toho seems to want to make 8 inch tall Godzillas and sell them for few hundred dollars, rather than make a more mass market figure. Toys R Us did a 2 foot tall Godzilla, it was one of the newer ones, and I got him, but I prefer the older style body.
