The Deadly Mantis
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Deadly_Mantis One of my favorite movies, a 1950s era giant bug movie. Here the Mantis attacks the DEW Line base.
The troops here in northern Alaska run into the snow and fire at the monster.
The bullets don't seem to have any effect on the monster.
A good view of the radar.
The northern night is pitch black!
Army weasels are parked outside.

Hi Mike, excellent scenery, I really love your work, that Mantis is terrible!
Thank you Philotep. I have had the Mantis for probably a decade and only now has it been used for it's intended purpose.
Thanks for reading.
