Colonial Sub
This is my colonial submarine.
Or, maybe it's a colonial era small surface combat vessel.
It's actually the lower hull of the Revell Type VII u-boat.
I cut my u-boats in half so they could work as waterline models.
And then I used the left over bits to make this ship.
Figures are various HaT colonial British sailors in 1/72nd scale figures.

the hat sailors,Did you head swap them using the alternate heads in the set?
Mike:
Very much like the "lace" detail along the sides in gold.
Looks like something NEMO would be proud of.
Has nothing to do with any inspiration from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, does it?
Well done.
Carry on.
Tsold there are a few head swaps in the group but I think the alternates came from some Napoleonic guys.

Thanks for noticing G. Yes. the League and other similar movies are very inspirational. Glad you liked it. It's actually a piece of paper lace from a fancy napkin we got at a restaurant. A little super glue and it works just fine, once painted.
