Americans Interwar Period

During the Interwar period, the US Army was small, and underfunded, but very busy.  Note the Montana Peak hat, or Smokey the Bear hat.

Troops here using the British style hat.  I plan on making some of these figures.

Here are troops wearing the side cap.  I hope to make at least a few of these troops as well, perhaps making the side caps from the heads of the Airfix USAAF figures.

Of course, the standard helmet was the M1917 helmet.  The Emhar / Imex WWI Americans have this helmet, I plan on swapping some heads with the WWI Americans from Airfix, just for variety.
